This’ll be short and sweet. 😀
I just wanted to drop in to give a book review – on The Star That Always Stays by Anna Rose Johnson.
If you haven’t read this book, I recommend it!
Anna’s characters are realistic and dynamic and their interactions caused me to actually LAUGH OUT LOUD at least 10 times – something that doesn’t happen often.
All the characters are wonderful, and I love them so much! From Uncle Vigil al the way down to little 9-year-old Dicta, they captured my heart immediately (well, Uncle Vigil took a while, but that’s ok, cause that’s how it’s meant to be – read it and find out 😉 😉 ).
Anna’s setting(s) were realistic, and she was really good at keeping them distinct and wonderful in their own ways.
I absolutely LOVE that the story is based off the author’s own family history! It makes the whole book seem more . . . homey, and true. More family-esc. Totally amazing. 😀
I would recommend this book to anyone – from a toddler to an adult! A story worth reading as a family, for sure.
And that’s all! I just thought you guys should know about this AWESOME book! You can find it on Amazon, as well as request it at your local library or bookstore.
I hope that you’ll read it! 😉
God bless,
Janet!
