Well, as the title suggests, I am back on my blog and writing! I was sick for a week and a half (which was NO FUN š ) and then I figured it would be best to just take a full two-week break and come back on Monday… which is what Iām doing!
In my brief post telling yaāll that I was sick, I promised some EPIC art when I returned…
And Iām here to deliver! Hopefully it meets your standards of epic… š
What I was trying to do here did not work, Iāll start out by saying. I wanted to do one of those really awesome 3d drawings (which you should totally look up! Theyāre AMAZING!!!) but it turns out theyāre way harder than I thought.
I originally thought you just had to draw a 3d-ish drawing and then cut out a horizon line and… ta da! There it was!
But no. Actually, 3d drawings have a TON to do with angles and distortion. I havenāt made it quite work yet, but Iāve gotten close. But for now, Iām just going to show you the first try I did, which was a cool drawing anyway! Here it is. š
As you can see, I did cut out the drawing a little higher than halfway (shown by the shadow line on the paper behind it). That was my attempt to see the drawing pop up from the page, but I realized afterward that if you want to draw a 3d picture like that the lines must be warped outward so the camera lens picks it up as straight.
Of course, knowing that I was doing this drawing for my blog, I picked a unique thumbnail-type drawing with my blog name on it. I made it up myself, and I think Iāll use this sketch as a rough draft for future thumbnails and advertising!
Let me know in the comments how you like itāand what you think would make it better! š
Thanks for reading and God bless!

I love it! So cool!
