Helping a Friend!

What do I mean by ‘Helping a Friend?’ I mean this: a lady I know just published her very first children’s book… and I wanted to help her out by putting a review of it on my blog!

The book is called Liberty Mae by Kalee DeBarnardi, and it’s about a little girl who loves Independence Day (the American celebration on the 4th of July). She and her family enjoy watching the parade, but this little girl is thinking deeper thoughts than candy and fireworks.

Liberty sees the real meaning behind this July celebration—the war that won her country’s independence as a free nation separate from England. As she thinks of the men who gave their lives fighting for her freedom, she thanks God for their willingness to die, and the wonderful country that God gave as a result.

It’s a really cool little book, and one that will make your little siblings, children or grandchildren think more about the priceless gift of freedom—whether or not you’re in the USA.

On another note, the art in this book was really amazing! There aren’t any graphic images of war or anything like that, and it’s very kid-friendly and creative. As an artist myself, I can really appreciate that. 😀

I give this book five stars!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

So if you’re looking for a cool gift for a young one, look no further! Even the adults will love this charming little book (now I sound like a marketing agent…. oh, well 😅 ).

You can find Liberty Mae on Amazon right now, and hopefully soon on Christainbook.com and other bookselling sites.

If you check it out (and maybe even buy it!), please leave a comment and tell me what you thought of it! And, of course, leaving a review on Amazon is wonderful as well. 😀

God bless,

Janet 📖
