Tiny Art + Harvest Festival!

Ok, so I mentioned at the end of my last post that the reason I posted late was that I got super busy . . . You may be wondering what I got busy with.

I’m here to tell you!

Near where I live, there will be a harvest festival on Saturday. Last year, I sold baked goods—biscuits, bread loaves, brownies…

But this year?

I’m going to have a booth of paintings!

Because, after all, I love art. 😀

So that’s what I’m super busy with.

Painting.

I already had a bunch of paintings (and I will sell some of those), but I wanted to keep some, so then I wouldn’t have enough to sell. Soooooo… I set out to paint more, knowing that I’d be selling them!

I went to our local art store and got a bunch of canvases—tall and thin, short and squat, mini, and even some three-foot-tall ones!

(Which means that now I have a BUNCH of canvases in my room. 😂 )

Then I looked up some reference pictures and started painting.

Here are some pictures of tiny ones I did. 👇

The canvases are 4”x 4”, so pretty small. Don’t worry though, I even have some that are 1”x 1”!

It’s the same scene four times, in the different seasons. I like them, and hopefully someone else will too!

Some of the others I’ve done are a waterfall in autumn, a lantern with a blue background, a tire swing tied to a tree with fall colors, and some butterflies.

(After all, it’s fall where I am, and it’s a harvest festival I’m trying to sell these at. So I’m mostly painting fall and wintery scenes. 😀)

Hope you enjoyed this—now go paint!

God bless,

Janet 🎨
